OSINT: Techniques & Instruments
The course focuses on the most relevant intelligence gathering tools and combines techniques of OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), HUMINT (Human Intelligence), and GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) techniques for public investigations.

Who is this course for?
Journalists, activists, and students who would like to improve their skills in analyzing information from publicly available sources.
As part of the course, students will learn how to
- work with different types of open data,
- find the necessary information in public Russian and foreign registries;
- use the technique of legendary interviews in investigations;
- use digital search tools;
- understand the tools of geospatial analysis.
Course format
Online classes once a week (lectures and workshops).
